Online Manuals

SFM's Online library of course manuals is our response to the changing landscape of Professional Development, Supervisory Skills Development, Occupational Health and Safety training, and other competing demands. Workshops continue to be available for in person classes.

Benefits of Online learning for Organizations:

  • Save money while investing in personal and professional development- you do not need to pay for a facilitator to come to your site, or for any downtime or extra staffing related to workshops that are normally done in person.
  • Save time - each course is designed to share the information in a learning format that allows you to do it on your schedule. Traditional workshops require that you complete the course in a specific timeframe whereas our online manuals do not.
  • Retention and practice ability - once you have reviewed the material you can try it out before moving on to other sections of the workshop. You can also review sections as often as you need.
  • Logistics - Online makes planning, scheduling, and payment easier for Organizations and Individuals

Disadvantages of Online learning:

  • No facilitated discussions
  • Group learning format not available

If you find yourself looking for high value workshop handbooks with immediately actionable content for Supervisors, Managers, or CEO's, with all the benefits listed above, our manuals will meet your needs.

Our online school is growing to include all of our offerings, but at present includes:

  • The Fundamentals of Effective Communication
  • Systematic Troubleshooting
  • Mental Health Awareness and Intervention
  • Personal Time Management
